 Matchplay Format

The 2018 B&E Matchplay format will be a 4 days tournament. The first 2 rounds of 18 holes each day will be a stroke play. The best 32 players will qualify to play on Saturday. There will be 16 matches of 9 holes in the morning. This will be a knockout matches but must be determined by stroke play scores. Every player must put out to ascertain winning the hole. 8 players who wins out of the 16 players will play another 9 holes in the afternoon. This will produce 4 players who will play 18 holes on Sunday to produce 2 players who will play final round of 18 holes. while the 2 earlier eliminated players will play the consolation match. All 32 players who made cut after the first 2 rounds will be paid according to the prize money breakdown of the event.
